Nokia Asha 300 and Asha 303 S40-based touchscreen phones


Nokia has also official announced another S40-based devices at Nokia World 2011 (26-27 October, London, UK), the Nokia Asha 300 and the Nokia Asha 303. Both featurephones are a candybar form factor.
The Nokia Asha 300 is packs a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen with QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) resolution and a T9-style numpad.
The Asha 300 phone has a 1GHz processor, 140MB of internal memory, a MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB), a 5-megapixel EDOF camera, FM tuner with RDS, Bluetooth 2.1, 10.2 Mbps HSDPA, 2 Mbps HSUPA, a MicroUSB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 1,110 mAh battery.
Dimensions of Nokia Asha 300 are 112.8 x 49.5 x 12.7 mm and weight 85 grams. New Nokia Asha 300 is pre-loaded with Nokia Life Tools, Nokia Store, Nokia Money, Nokia Browser, Nokia Messaging, and Angry Birds.
Another ‘touch & type’ device, Nokia Asha 303 has features a 2.6-inch capacitive touchscreen with QVGA 320 x 240 resolutions and a full physical QWERTY keyboard.
New Asha 303 phone is equipped with a 1GHz processor, 100MB of onboard memory, a MicroSD card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, a 3.2 megapixels EDOF camera, FM radio, MicroUSB port, and a 1,300 mAh battery.
Size of Nokia Asha 303 is 116.5 x 55.7 x 13.9 mm and weight 99 grams. The Nokia Asha 303 is comes with Angry Birds, Nokia’s Opera Mini-like, Nokia Store, Flash Lite 3, a Social client apps for Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and Orkut.
These Asha Series 40 (S40) platforms are supports in GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz mobile networks.
Nokia Asha 300 and 303 will be selling at €85 and €115, respectively. Both Nokia Asha phones are available before the end of the year.
