In France, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo will come in a different name, called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Kyno. This Sony Ericsson handset will be launched in July.
As noted, the Xperia Kyno is the result of a contest to choose a new name for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo in France last month. There are two candidate names of Neo – Xperia Steady and Xperia Kyno.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Kyno is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS that like the Xperia Arc, Xperia Play and the new Xperia Mini smartphone.
New Xperia Kyno smartphone has features a 3.7-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixel (FWGA), 8MP autofocus camera with 720p video recording, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, and GPS. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Kyno is boasts a 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and an 8GB memory card.
