Adobe Flash would be available for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich by the end of 2011, according to Pocket-lint who has confirmed it with Adobe. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus that was announced last month with Android 4.0 doesn’t come with Flash player. This would let the Samsung Galaxy Nexus users and other users who receives the Android 4.0 in near future would get full web experience. But the Android 4.0 would be the last version of the Android that would come with Flash support. RIM hasannounced recently that they would continue to develop Flash Player for the BlackBerry PlayBook.
Adobe announced earlier this month that they would stop development of flash for mobile phones and tablets and concentrate on bringing new features for the Flash Player for desktop browsers. Adobe released an update for the Flash Player for Android recently that came with lots of bug fixes. They would continue to provide bug fixes in future but not add any new features.
They would continue to develop Adobe AIR for both the desktop and mobile phones that is used for creating feature rich mobile applications.
