Sony Ericsson has introduced a new smartphone in Japan, called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Acro. The handset is basically optimized version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc smartphone. The Sony Ericsson Acro is comes with built-in Mobile TV functionality paired with Mobile wallet and Mobile BRAVIA Engine to ensure ultimate multimedia experiences.
The heart of Sony Ericsson Xperia Acro smartphone is a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, Adreno 205 GPU, 512MB internal memory, a 1500mAh battery, and runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. New Acro has brings a 4.2-inch multi-touch Reality Display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, and an 8.1 megapixel camera with Sony Exmor R and 720p video recording.
There are a 3.5 mm audio jack, A-GPS, Bluetooth, stereo FM Radio, HDMI, DLNA support, Wi-Fi, and Infrared port. New Sony Ericsson Xperia Acro smartphone will be available in Japan this summer and comes in two color options – black and white.
