The Sony Ericsson‘s upcoming Android smartphone is available for pre-order in the UK at Play.Com. It is called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray that selling for priced at £349.99 (about $562) SIM-free and expected ship on August 15th, 2011. The handset was official announced last month together with Sony Ericsson Xperia active.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray smartphone has features a 3.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixel, an 8 megapixel autofocus Exmoor R camera with 720p HD video recording and LED flash, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 1500mAh battery
Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, new Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, and 300MB of internal storage.
Dimensions of Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray are 111 x 53 x 9.4 mm and weight 100g.
