SONY ERICSSON XPERIA PLAY PLAYSTATION PHONE


At the MWC 2011 (Barcelona, Spain), Sony Ericsson has officially announced its PlayStation phone that called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. New smartphone game console is executed in side slider form factor and become is the world’s first PlayStation-certified smartphone.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will be available in March 2011 and will come in two models – the first is support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA, while the second is CDMA EV-DO network. It is available in white and black color options, as well as partnered with key publishers in the gaming industry.
Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY smartphone is packs a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen TFT display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixel and support for multitouch technology, 5.1 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 400MB of internal memory, MicroSD card slot (a 8GB card bundled), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
New Xperia PLAY PlayStation phone is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and boasts a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 CPU with Adreno 205 graphics chip, 512MB RAM. According to manufacture, it can deliver 60fps playback 3D mobile gaming. Dimensions of Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY are 119 x 62 x 16 mm and weight 175 grams.
